How else should we start?

Our launch campaign ended this Friday, and thanks to your support and your commitment to more natural, local and responsible cosmetics, we gradually reached our goals.

In total, 913 shampoos were pre-ordered: this result lets us start our first production run!

So we wanted to thank you, our backers. You allowed us to bring LAO to life and to turn into reality an entrepreneurial idea that set out to shake up natural cosmetics with simple, healthy and responsible products.

Launching LAO took us through many emotions, but we enjoyed every moment. This step confirmed the interest you have in our approach, and how strong the demand is for natural, French hair care products!

Thanks to you, we pulled off this crazy bet, and we can now promise you that our 100% natural shampoos will be on sale from February, at hair salons, pharmacies and organic stores in your area.

2. WE’RE NOT STOPPING THERE

Now that the Ulule campaign is over, what happens between now and February?

Of course, we had no intention of making you wait until February without being able to order natural shampoos. Some of you may have missed our first month of launch, so we thought of you.

Pre-orders are still open! If you haven’t had time to order our shampoos yet, don’t panic, you still can!

If you follow our blog closely, you may have already noticed that the site looks a little different. You can now pre-order our shampoos directly on our site.

The first deliveries will take place in early February, the perfect way to start 2021. And although the holiday season will be well behind us by then, there’s nothing to stop you from making it a great, slightly belated Christmas gift.

3. A LITTLE SURPRISE

This launch campaign also lets the LAO adventure develop, grow and expand its range. We are very happy to announce that we are starting the formulation of new LAO products! They are of course hair care products, just as natural and French as ever. They have been asked for again and again, so we’re sure you’ll love them.

To be part of this next step, we strongly recommend following us on social media, if you don’t already! That way, you’ll hear our news every day and, above all, you’ll be the first to discover each of our new products.

For now, we can’t tell you much more. As you know, at LAO we’re pretty much the pros of teasing! And we won’t break the rule this time either. But we really can’t wait to show you all of this, to develop our ranges around what you need. And above all, to grow our brand with you, and for you.

Our heads are full of ideas that are just waiting to be brought to life, and we’re happy to see that you like them and support us in what we do!

4. A SHORT TIMELINE

In June 2019, Lisa, the founder, took part in Start-up Weekend Nantes and pitched her project, “to create a truly responsible, local shampoo that also brings pleasure and desire”, and she won the competition!

Once the Start-up Weekend was over, the enthusiasm grew tenfold, and it was no longer a simple idea but a real answer to a very real demand.

Then came long months of research and development, accompanied by your feedback.

On September 29, 2020, we finally launched pre-orders for our 100% natural origin shampoos! That was it: the adventure was coming to life and the project had become real.

On October 30, a month later, our launch campaign ends. And now you can pre-order the shampoos directly on our site.

Until the end of the year, we’ll be busy ordering raw materials and bottles and preparing the production of your natural shampoos… and their long-awaited shipment.

In February 2021, you’ll receive your shampoos, and we’ll finally be able to get your feedback!
