Natural hair routine with LAO

Discover the steps of a new natural hair routine with your 100% natural LAO shampoo.

Step 1: I crack

I go to the website lao-care.com or physically, to my hairdresser or my organic store to buy a bottle of LAO natural shampoo . I choose the shampoo adapted to my hair type ( dry or oily / normal ) and ask the seller for help or contact the brand if I have a doubt or a specific hair problem .
I buy my natural shampoo by supporting sustainable cosmetics and the French economy.

Step 2: If I don't use natural products

I start by finishing my old conventional shampoos . If I'm in a hurry, I can also give them away!

If I find that my hair is sticky or gets greasy quickly under normal circumstances, I clarify it with baking soda to detoxify my hair and eliminate silicone residue.

Step 2: If I already use natural products

My scalp and hair are already detoxified and I can switch to LAO natural shampoo without any particular transition.

Be careful, however, with the transition between a solid shampoo and LAO shampoo : if your solid shampoo has a high concentration of surfactants or contains SCI , your hair may have a transition. This will depend on the person and the hair type!

Step 3: My routine

I opt for a minimalist natural hair routine : shampoo, conditioner/mask, oil, and that's it !

I'm discovering the creamy texture of my LAO natural shampoo , which I gently lather on my scalp. The first time I use it, the shampoo won't lather much; that's normal! You'll see a creamy lather from the second wash.

2 pumps are enough per shampoo, distribute it evenly on different areas of your scalp for optimal washing.

If I have damaged, dry, or curly hair , a conditioner or mask may be necessary to provide an extra dose of care. You can find very effective homemade mask recipes!

You can also, at the end of your shower, rinse your hair with cider vinegar diluted in water to close the scales of your hair and detangle it: see our article on this subject .

I avoid heating appliances and prefer to air dry or wrap my hair in a cotton t-shirt or microfiber towel.

Tip: If I have curly hair , using a conditioner or vegetable oil, I scrunch my hair from the bottom up to create nice, defined curls. Then I wrap my hair upside down in a t-shirt or microfiber towel.

Once my hair is dry, I can apply a few drops of vegetable oil to add shine. You'll find a selection of French vegetable oils right here.

I space out my washes to avoid damaging my scalp and to promote normal sebum production.

Step 4: Afterwards

Once my natural hair transition is complete (no more chemical residue in my hair, no more greasy hair...), I can enjoy my dream natural hair !

This transition can last more or less time depending on the person, ranging from a few days to a few months.

Step 5: The instruction!

Once your LAO shampoo is empty, you can go to a local store that distributes LAO, to return your old bottle: this is our deposit system, at no extra cost . We collect your shampoo bottles to give them a second life and refill them in our factory.

Take the opportunity to discover a natural hairdresser or an organic store just a few kilometers from your home and buy a new LAO natural shampoo !

Koch

Bonjour,
